There’s such a unique charm about a farm-style rehearsal dinner — beautiful surroundings, good food, and music that can shift effortlessly with the evening.

Last night at @themanor1858 , Caroline and I moved between piano, guitar, and violin, starting with elegant instrumental music for cocktails before settling into vocal favorites around the dinner table.

We love being able to bring that kind of versatility to a celebration — two musicians, multiple instruments, both singing, and a repertoire that can follow the mood wherever the evening takes it.

It’s been a very busy year with JP Entertainment — booking and performing weddings, private events, and celebrations all over Virginia. Thankfully, I’ve still managed to carve out some time for my original music passion project, VILLAGES.

Here’s a little sizzler video from the Tilt Studio Session we filmed earlier this summer, shot live in front of 200 people at Tilt Studios in Richmond.

And there’s a pretty meaningful connection between these two worlds: many of the musicians in VILLAGES are the same musicians I get to work with at weddings and private events. That’s a big part of what makes JP Entertainment special — I work with some of the best working musicians in Virginia: artists who tour, record, perform, and make their living playing music. They’re the musicians I choose to make my own music with, and they’re the musicians I choose to put in front of my clients. That means when you book a JP Entertainment group, you’re getting the same caliber of musicianship I demand for my own projects — experienced, versatile, top-shelf players who know how to make a room sound incredible.

8/14/26 | Farmington Country Club. A beautiful evening at @farmingtoncountryclub , starting with solo piano for the cocktail hour and rehearsal dinner, and then transitioning into an acoustic duo for the welcome party with one of my favorite Virginia guitarists, Corey Wells.

Two different settings, two different sounds -- and a pretty perfect way to kick off a wedding weekend.

There's something special about playing in the Jefferson Room at @farmingtoncountryclub in Charlottesville. Designed by Thomas Jefferson himself, it's a space filled with history, elegance, and timeless charm—one of my favorite rooms to perform in.

I was honored to play piano for this wonderful birthday dinner celebration on Monday evening. Thank you @hannahroseeventdesign for inviting me to be part of such a special evening. It's always a privilege to help create memorable moments in such an incredible setting.

5/2/26 | Wedding Ceremony at The John Marshall Ballroom. One of our favorite wedding ceremony setups: piano + violin. Over the past year, it's become our signature ceremony offering—the elegance and warmth of the piano paired with the emotion and versatility of the violin is hard to beat.

For this beautiful ceremony at @jmballrooms , we learned a Beatles song, an Ellie Goulding song, and a Marvin Gaye classic for the processional and recessional. Custom song requests are included at no additional charge, and we've yet to find a song we can't bring to life for a ceremony.

A huge thank you to @chelseaquenum for bringing us on board, and to the incredible vendor team for being such a pleasure to work with!
