Maddy is an award-winning vocalist based in Richmond, VA who specializes in all of your favorite jazz standards. Her tone and phrasing harken back to the great jazz and old Hollywood vocalists of yesteryear like Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, and Doris Day. Critics have described her performances as "hauntingly beautiful" (DC Metro Theatre Arts) and "soulful beyond her years" (Simon Cowell, American Idol Season 9). And most recently, "a soulful vocalist who brings a retro-jazz sound that feels like it stepped right out of the World War II era" (Necci, Auricular).
